The title
refers to the unique process the group used to “assemble” this
project. Each Babe independently produced three tracks for the
recording in her own favorite studio. Sally and Debi did their
tracks in Nashville, using musicians known for working with such
legends as James Taylor, Martina McBride, and The Judds. In NY,
Suzzy co produced her tracks with engineer/producer Stuart
Lerman (Dar Williams), while Camille worked with pals in upstate
NY. Next, the group met in Nashville to lay down the Babes'
signature harmonies. The project then moved to Washington D.C.
where Engineer Extraordinaire, Billy Wolf mixed and mastered.
The end result is a glorious collection of songs that reflects
each member's artistic personality, while retaining the
ensemble's collective voice.
